The item you are looking at is our Number I0011, a Keepsake sized, ceramic pottery cremation urn that is one-of-a-kind and hand signed by the artist.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that this urn is
made of RAKU pottery/ceramic, there is no way to create a threaded, screw-on, sealing
lid. This lid is a plug style, and to create a permanent seal, we recommend
using a small amount of adhesive, such as carpenter’s glue, crazy glue, or
other type of adhesive, to create a strong, permanent bond between the lid and
the urn base. We do NOT include the adhesive with the urn, but you can use
pretty much any strong adhesive to seal it. Please contact us with any questions.

Details

This perfectly proportioned miniature urn was hand thrown on a potter’s wheel. The rich copper earthy-toned body has lovely flashing- a record of the kiln atmosphere and the firing process. The rich red bronze lid has splash of lush forest green. Through masterful firing techniques, the artist exacts both the red and the green colors from the same glaze. A very tactile piece, it is a pleasure to hold. This is the actual urn you will receive. Once it has been sold, there will be no more exactly like it. This original one-of-a-kind urn is signed by the artist.

The top opening lid may be sealed with glue (included).

Sizing Guide

Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200 pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
