Sizing Guide

Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200 pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.

 

Details

The Himalayan Rock Salt keepsake is a perfect vessel for a natural disposition. Designed for sea burials or water funerals; guaranteed to dissolve in four hours. The Salt Urn is individually hand crafted by skilled artisans from solid blocks of Himalayan rock salt. The salt deposits in this region are over 250 million years old and are believed to be the purest on earth. As a result of the handmade and natural qualities of our Salt Urns, each is unique in both color and finish. Colors can range from deep rust to pink blush to tan to white, or a combination of those colors, depending on the mineral content in the salt.

Each urn comes with a biodegradable bag and tie for the cremated remains to be placed in before being placed inside the urn. The urn should be sealed with a non-toxic wood or paper glue. (not included)
