Sizing Guide

 

Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200 pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.

The Sophisticate Clock  Urn is made of hardwood and is ideal for storing your loved one’s ashes.  This urn is maintenance free.  

• This mantel clock urn is finished in Black Coffee on select hardwoods and oak veneers, with polished chrome-finished, plated metal feet. Features flat glass over the dial, accented by a black border with white dot pattern and polished black and chrome-finished square embellishments on the corners.
• White dial with applied polished chrome-finished Arabic numerals and bar hour markers, black hour and minute hands, and a silver-finished seconds hand.
• This memorial clock urn has a capacity of 275 cubic inches to accept most temporary plastic containers or the Howard Miller 800-135 Bronze Urn Insert.
• An additional compartment in the back of the case is large enough to hold Howard Miller Scattering Tubes or other momentos.
• Quartz, battery-operated movement requires one AA sized battery (not included).
• Includes a mail-in card for a free engraved personalization plate.

 PLEASE NOTE: This urn does NOT contain the solid brass insert that goes inside the clock. Howard Miller has made these clock urns specifically to fit the dimensions of the box you get from the funeral home/crematorium. That box will fit inside the clock without an insert and so, you do not NEED the insert, but if you wish to purchase the solid brass insert, as well, please email us for prices and availability.
