The item you are looking at is our Model Number 002-63, a bright silver colored solid brass engraved name-plate medallion for 6” or 7” conical cremation urns.

·        Can it be Engraved? : Yes, this name-plate medallion can be engraved, at no extra cost, with two lines of engraving in the font shown. The first line can hold up to 23 characters max. and the second line can hold up to 33 characters max. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot add clip art or drawings to the engraving.

PLEASE NOTE: When purchasing this urn, please email or contact us when making payment to let us know what you would like the engraving to say. In an effort to increase efficiency and to get your items to you as fast as possible, our items generally ship the same or next day, so if you fail to let us know in time what you would like the engraving to read, we will have to ship your item with the engraving blank, and you can then take it to a trophy shop/jeweler/engraver/Things Remembered type of store to complete the engraving.

Sizing Guide

This name-plate medallion is for a 6” or 7” conical shaped urn. This plate will not fit well on an adult sized urn, or on a box/cube type urn. For info on purchasing name-plates for those types of urns, please email us or check our store for more offerings.

PLEASE NOTE: The pictures above show the name-plate attached to one of our urns to give you a better idea of what they might look like attached. Please note the urn in the picture is NOT included in this listing. If you wish to purchase the urn and name-plate together, we are happy to offer a package price. These name-plates look good on any 6”/7” conical urn, but, of course, we always encourage you to use it on one of our own urns. If you purchase the name-plate together with an urn of ours, we can give you a discounted price on the name-plate. Please email for more info.

The name-plate comes with an attached chain, measuring 14” in length, which can be easily cut down to fit the measurements of your urn.

These name-plates can be draped over a 6”/7” conical urn, or the chain can be removed and the name-plate can be directly attached to the urn with the double-sided tape on the back of the plate.

 Engraving Information

The plate can be engraved with two lines of engraving in the font shown, with up to 23 characters max. in the first line, and up to 33 characters max. in the second line.

Bear in mind, the second line will be smaller in font size than the first line, and we will automatically center the text accordingly.

Most people usually choose the name for the first line and dates for the second line, but some suggestions for the second line include:

Please Note: If you choose dates for the second line, we will automatically abbreviate any longer month’s names, like December (Dec.), unless you specifically ask us to do otherwise. We do this in order to best fit the wording and to best center the text from the first line above the second line.
